The Basil Discovery 365D M MIK is a sporty pannier bag. This single bicycle bag has a capacity of 9 litres and comes in a black melange colour. It is suitable for both women´s- and men´s bicycles and includes a handy carabiner clip. The bag also has a flap with an elastic pocket and a convenient drawstring. You can keep your things in place this way. Want to take an extra bottle with you? That is possible, as the bag has an additional elastic pocket on the side.
The bag is easy to attach with the pre-assembled MIK adapter plate. You can easily use this adapter plate to clip the pannier bag to your MIK-profile carrier or MIK-carrier plate. Do you want to bring your pannier bag into the office or a shop? You can snap it off just as easily in that case. The bag has a detachable shoulder strap. If you want to extend the handles a bit longer, you can lock your helmet under the handles. You can easily store your helmet this way.

This bag works flawlessly with my MLK rack. It stays centered in place and attaches & detaches quickly. I like the inter stay dry lining.
Good for carrying small things

The trunk is well made and has plenty of pockets. I plan to carry my lunch, some drinks, bike lock, and tire inflator in the trunk for commuting to work. It may be able to fit a change of clothes too, but it would be a very tight fit unless I leave the top zipper partially undone. It's a little smaller than I had hoped. I may need to get a pannier as well. The water bottle holder is a nice feature but not functional while riding. It fits my helmet if I am not carrying much else inside, but the zipper can't close fully with the helmet inside (size medium). It's functional and convenient. Taking a star off because the size is more like 36cm x 18cm x 18cm. I could have used the extra 4 cm in height as advertised (the 18 height is also at the high end and tappers down to around 16cm).
