Switching from the gp5000 non tubeless to this tubeless tire, first noticeable difference is the weight, they are considerable heavier than the stock gp5000 but with that comes a solid quality product, puncture resistant and very well made product. After an initial 50km test they feel much smoother than the stock gp5000 and when riding the weight is not actually noticeable. They are slightly difficult to install if you are pouring sealant in direct to the tire so I opted to input the sealant through the valve for ease and less mess. Very happy with the product and well worth the money.

Excellent tubeless for hookless rims (almost a forced choice for this type of rims) light and with excellent grip, however compared to the gp 5000 with which I don't remember ever having a puncture, with these I have already punctured 4 times... to keep low the weight they removed a few layers of material in the center of the tread.. they didn't convince me 100%

Roll nicely and are apparently quick. Ok to fit (for tubeless). Have had a few slices too big to plug so now have 3 GP's that are no longer usage as tubeless (in about 10,000km) - could just be luck.

Perfect tires, used on hookless rims from Giant and EIECarbon and very easy to install, no leackages, air is loosed little bit after few days only. Very good grip on wet, speedy, puncture resistant, little bit wider by 2 mm. Longetivity - the rear has 4000 km and moved to the front - should survive another 2000 km there. Recommended!

I'm using these on 19mm internal diameter wheels and they come out pretty spot on 25mm. Been using them for about a month now with no punctures as yet. They were a bit tight to fit on the wheel but I think that's pretty normal for tubeless tyres, I was able to do it without using a tyre lever but my thumbs were pretty sore after :P I was able to inflate them using a floor pump which is a bonus.

I've been using Conti 5K tubeless for a couple years. Super fast and comfortable. 65psi front 70 psi rear for a 192lb rider. The only issue is having ,to add more sealant once they start to lose air. Otherwise, I keep them on until they are worn out.

Hello, I’ve just installed these on my wheels tubeless -I have used Shimano wheel sealant and the new tires are not holding pressure. Also, when I roll the wheels, there is an uneven turn and it causes the bike to bounce. I have taken the tire off and reseated it twice now there has been no change. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hello! The problem you describe is related to not properly mounting the tire on the rim. You should pressurize the tire until you hear some click noises

The thickness of the rubber, on the TT they are thinner to be faster, but less resistant than on the Road STR model, being less resistant to punctures and everyday use. They are more tires for races on circuits or short races.

Yes, the 28, 30 and 32mm GP5000 STR are compatible with that wheelset. The 25mm are not according to ZIPP’s tyre compatibility chart

Yes! Just refer to Continental’s tyre pressure calculator (and max pressure depending on which width tyre your choose) as the pressure you require is likely lower than you currently use if you are on hooked rims

I ordered this tire "Continental Gran Prix 5000 S Tubless Forldable Road Tyre" and received a Continental GP 5000 S TR. Bikeinn/Traeinn should include the ´TR´ moniker on the website to avoid any confusion as there are a lot of GP 5000 tires! So, to answer your question, yes the GP5000 S TR is the right tire for a hookless tubeless rim. Make sure you check the Continental Website to make sure your specific rim is compatible with this tire. Tubless tire fitment is a bit more sensitive than clinchers. I´ve got over 2,000 miles (3,200km) on a set of GP5000STRs and I´m very happy with them.
