Fast light durable XC tire

This is the first time I've tried these tires. I've had so many issues with other tires with side walls from rocks. This is a great XC tyre for all conditions, providing plenty of grip, even on dry and dusty surfaces. I run on both front and rear and have made it through a race season without a problem. It mounts easily as a tubeless tyres and inflates with just a track pump on my DT Swiss rims. The Bernstein sidewalls look great but it's not a light tan more of a red brown which look better than the photo.

I ordered a tire to Russia. Arrived in less than a month. The tires are perfect, smooth, without runout. Weight less than 600g. This version has Protection, which is why it weighs more. The roll is excellent, wear-resistant, and has sufficient grip on soil. Never made it through the season. The side stripe is not light, the color is closer to bronze. For now I ride with tubes, but in the future I will use tubeless. The tire is made in Germany, HANDMADE

Continental quality product! I installed it on the bike, but like the other Continentals I've had, it took a while to get "tubular"! Despite this, the tire is very beautiful, good rolling (I use it on the rear) and I believe it has good durability!

The Race King Protection TLR is a great XC tyre for all conditions, providing plenty of grip, even on dry and dusty surfaces. I've put it on the back of my 29er XC FS and its fast as you like, I'd happily run one on the front in the dry also. It mounts easily as a tubeless tyres and inflates with just a track pump on my DT Swiss rims. It measures up true to size and in the Bernstein sidewalls it looks great on my bike too.

What is the actual weight of these tires? In the description here it marks only 595 grms. Is this correct?

Very fast tyre for rear end. I was afraid it wouldn´t be grippy enough but in fact I got used to it after first 2 rides and now I am discovering some tires advertised for mud or extreme offroad to be less grippier than this. It is also very fast rolling (60Km/h on road at about -4-5% incline). Very happy with the purchase. Mine got in fact about 585 grams.

How about my dear, I don´t know why I didn´t have the curiosity to think about the correct answer. What I can tell you is that they are very light, I did not dare to put liquid on them. They are like in the picture. The confusing "black" word in the description is about the rubber compound called BlackChilli which is just the commercial name of the compound used but in fact the appearance is black+brown. By they way, superb tires, they transformed visually the bike and also the ride. For what I use them and my style and terrain, I easily got new PR on Strava :)
