A gravel cycling shoes with Powerstrap Velcro closure system design for an enveloping fit and a X4 outsole targeted stiffness and rubber tread for mixed surfaces

POWERSTRAP:
- While most traditional Velcro closures just pull together two sides of the shoe´s upper, in the Powerstrap configuration a ribbon wraps around the foot, providing secure containment using just two straps. The instep and the midfoot are separately adjustable for customized fit and compression.
X4 OUTSOLE:
- For these versatile shoes we developed a specific outsole, the X4: a carefully considered combination of stiffness and comfort, to turn pedals effectively on mixed surfaces; blending nylon - with targeted stiffness - and a rubber tread for effective grip and durability.

I got these for gravel biking and they are very comfortable and work well. I found my size a bit narrow so went up half a size and fits well. Dial closure works well and easy to walk in. I would recommend.

Light comfortable and fairly rigid while being easy to walk in! I bought these at a competitive price on Bike INN. I already have a pair of road shoes same brand and found them super comfortable and quick drying with the open weave. On advice, I ordered a half size bigger and got the 44 (I normally take EU43). As my 43 roadies are a close fit (not tight) and somewhat awkward to walk in I figured the 44 with ~6mm longer insole would be more comfortable to walk in. having ,owned now for two weeks and done about 100 km biking plus some walking they have been a great choice. Highly recommend these @4.5 star rating from me (5 here). Note: Normal sizing works for this Brand IMO but if your feet are a bit wider than normal (as mine are) and you walk and ride in hot weather (Im in ASIA) then the half size extra is a good compromise IMO.

Very appealing product , great quality ! For my purchase an EU 45 size full black design,very sleek look and very well fitted to the shape of my feet. They're very comfortable and very well ventilated in combination with a stiff sole which helps preventing the loss of watts,ideal for gravel & mtb. It's not the first pair that I've bought from fizik and for sure not the last one.

Compared to the TERRA X5, it is definitely a more comfortable shoe, especially considering the rigidity and shape of the sole. I normally wear size EU 43.5, but at FIZIK I recommend always going half a size up (EU 44).

Got it in less than 3 weeks (Netherlands-Canada) and I thought it will be small on me (size 7 women) and so excited it fits well with a bit of a room for warm rides…The color is not pink more of a light berry…definitely recommended for women who are looking for a cute colored MTB shoes

The insole measurement is correct as per the chart. The 44 in this brand and model will be very close to the stated 283.5mm. For comparison, my "normal size" and that recommended by Fizik size chart is 43 (insole and foot length) @277mm. I have a 43 in a road version of this shoe and its very snug with little spare room. So, I bought the 44 MTB version as Fizik did not have a 43.5 in this model and figured the extra 6.5mm for the 44 would make for a more relaxed and better fit in a MTB shoe when factoring the potential to wear thicker socks and some walking. So far no regrets and the size 44 has been a good purchase IMO.
