Product description HJC Ibex 2.0 helmet

The IBEX 2.0 road helmet is an ultra-lightweight and comfortable helmet designed to provide optimal ventilation. Its unique shape improves aerodynamics and allows it to evacuate heat more quickly.

Developed in HJC’s own wind tunnel laboratory, the IBEX integrates the Venturi Dynamics to balance the air resistance force. The helmet is perfectly suited for intense effort and hot weather conditions thanks to its impressive and well balanced design.

With a weight of just about 200g and a total of 16 ventilations, this perfectly ventilated helmet will also surprise you with its aerodynamics. It is also equipped with more classic functions such as: adjustable occipital cradle, goggle mount, strap splitters and antibacterial X-Static pads.

This helmet comes with spare pads and a bag to protect the helmet when you take it with you.

TECHNICAL FEATURES:

SELFIT ™:
- SELFIT is an automatic self-adjusting fitting system which is a revolutionary technology in bicycle helmet fitting.
- Once the helmet fit is set for your head it doesn’t require further adjustment, even when your head is moving during the ride. The SELFIT system automatically adjusts the gap and provides consistent fitting and comfort for your head.

5 STEP SNAP FIT:
- 5 snap fitting positions provide consistent fitting and comfort for all different types of head shapes and sizes. The rider can adjust the fitting with precision, resulting in a helmet that will ideally adjusted for a perfect ride, time after time.

Advanced Air Channel System:
- A certain amount of air passes through the front air-intake port, then circulates inside the helmet and finally exits through the exhaust port. The internal airflow is then increased to cool the head and evacuate the heat.

Ventury Dynamics:
- In order to achieve maximum ventilation, a technical adaptation of Bernoulli’s principle is applied to HJC’s aerodynamically enhanced models. In motion, the rate of surface flow generally increases as it progresses towards the rear of the helmet. Through pressure differences, cool air from the frontal intake is extracted through the rear vent for internal heat dissipation, giving the cyclist optimum ventilation and perfect air flow while riding.

Feather Light:
- HJC bicycle helmets are designed and engineered through precise measures to have the lightest weight possible. Density, placement, shapes and materials all play a part in weight optimization.

Nice helmet, fits well and is well ventilated. 59cm head (oblong rather than round) and is comfy. I sometimes feel like the brow interferes with sunglasses and others days this seems a non issue. Might be worth baring in mind. I would buy again but the helmet is expensive.

Extremely light, very comfortable and no fuss fit system. This is my third HJC helmet (the other two are Furion and Furion 2.0) and I liked them so much that I wanted a mid summer version and this fits the bill perfecty. I live in Australia so 35+deg for weeks is normal in summer so this will be a great alternative to Furion 2.0

I tried it for the first time as soon as it arrived in an amateur race with 27 degrees of temperature, I must say that I was amazed by the comfort and lightness, also it is well ventilated I did not feel hot. Great product, money well spent.

I had never had a helmet of this brand before, but I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by the build quality and how comfortable it is! There is no question about the construction, and the system that automatically tightens the head when wearing the helmet is truly exceptional! I highly recommend it, also because, above all, it weighs only 225 gr and is aesthetically very beautiful

My head size is 55cm and M suits me very well. The helmet is super light and easy to adjust, and no need to adjust it again after first time.
