Maxxis arden race 29 tire good tire very similar to the ikon but with a higher block I wear the front wheel the rear ikon perfect combination the weight 790 grams if you want a resistant tire it is what there are others weigh less but I like this one more for its resistance and as a wheel I recommend heel perfectly

As I said, I come from somewhat narrower tires, and the truth is that going up and leveling the front is not very noticeable, but when you go down, even on false flats, comfort is noticeable, and on technical trails, both downhill and uphill, it shows, especially in rockgardens, which gives greater comfort and some grip, although lately everything has been very dry, and I have not tried them on an optimal layout.

Perfect tire that works very well for the front wheel. I use it in broken areas, with roots and trails in size 2.35 at a pressure of 1.1 bars and if I ride on the track at 1.25 bars. It has very good grip due to good side knobs and it rolls well with a low knob, without being a pure rolling tire. It also has tremendous durability, since I have 9,500 km on the front wheel. Now I will mount the front one as a rear one and the new one on the front wheel to see results, because the Rekon Race has a maximum durability of 3000 kms and that shows in the pocket.
