Product description of MET Parachute downhill helmet

Parachute is the trailblazer for a new category of helmets purpose-built for Enduro mountain biking. It combines the protection of a full face helmet with low weight, high ventilation and comfort. Riders buy a full face helmet to have more protection to their face, so it’s important to know if the chin guard has been stringently tested and passes the ASTM standard. The fact that the Parachute is ASTM certified gives the confidence to the rider that MET has designed and certified the Parachute to provide the best level of safety in its class.

Features:

THE PERFECT CHOICE:
- The Parachute is the ideal helmet for Enduro racing: weighing in at just 700g (Size M), it is extremely light and well ventilated making it comfortable to wear on climbs and safe on descents.

A CHINGUARD THAT DOES NOT RESTRICT BREATHING:
- The Parachutes non-removable chin guard is integrated into the helmet.
Thanks to its construction it is the only chin guard of its kind that exceeds ASTM testing.
This technology and highly innovative design create a solid, compact and highly-ventilated chin guard.

ADJUSTABLE VISOR WITH INTEGRATED AIR INTAKE VENTS:
- The visor’s role is to protect the face especially the eyes from branches and the sun, or against mud.
Fine tune your field of vision by adjusting the anodized aluminum side screws.
The visor can easily be adjusted to provide plenty of space to stow your goggles.

KEEP THE GOGGLES IN PLACE:
- The Parachute is goggle compatible; a clip system on the back of the helmet keeps your goggle strap in place.

SAFE-T ADVANCED FIT SYSTEM:
- Safe-T Advanced, MET’s top of the line fit system, provides the best weight and comfort ratio.
The contact points have a larger cradle surface increasing comfort and are also designed to keep weight low and allow perspiration at the back of the head.
The polyurethane soft padding improves the fitting affording a comfy head touch.

DUALGEL FRONT PAD:
- Helps to keep your head cooler when pushing the limits.
The gel pad does not absorb perspiration and offers a much longer life span than traditional foam pads.

Bought this for MTB downhill. Very satisfied with the design and quality. Lightweight and well ventilated. It is not uncomfortable to breathe while wearing a helmet. Cons: The chin strap is uncomfortable. I hope to improve

I have 55 cm head with short chin so the M size fits super perfect! The helmet itself is realy comfortable. Inside ther is a lot of extra features wich makes this helmet very prepared with care! Delivery was fast and nice packed. Thank you bikeinn! I recommend!

Nice finished, lightweight helmet with good ventillation. Two different sizes of face paddings, helmet slip and a Gopro holder are incuded. Silicone paddings at forehead for better grip, size adjuster at the nape.

really a great helmet! light, really well ventilated, and for having made a very big fall on rocks in enduro (full face then side shock) no external injury (but head trauma). Without the helmet I will surely not be able to write this review! I therefore take the same one again because I am really satisfied with it :)
