Nathan Luna Fire 250 RX Pecho/Cintura Headlight

Good light for the price

14/11/2022

Michael Moesby Nielsen

The light has several settings for brightness and lights up quite nicely at medium strength. I use mine when I run in the woods, and supplemented with a headlamp, I don't lack light. Quick to charge and good battery life. A lamp worth recommending, at a good price

Nathan Luna Fire 250 RX Pecho/Cintura Headlight

Bright, light and comfortable

06/09/2020

I got tired of running with head torches a couple of years ago, and switched to using a chest light that straps over the shoulder and around the waist, which was much better in every way. The drawback was that when worn with a hydration pack, it was uncomfortable under the pack (at the back) or very ill-fitting over the top. I also struggled to find one that didn't need re-charging after two or three hours, which for ultra-running wasn't enough. This light clips onto the front of my running pack, or, with the HR monitor-style band that comes with it, can go around the waist, chest or head, fitting more comfortable under the pack if preferred. It's very easy to tweak the light up or down as required, and it has several possible angles. It has four different light-intensity settings too. When clipped to the front of my hydration vest, it did move up and down a little bit as I ran, but not massively. If I was running on very uneven trails, I'd use the band provided to keep the beam steady. I've only used it for about an hour of running in the dark so far, but I'm hopeful that the claims of 25+ hours of burn time are accurate. Overall, I'm very pleased with this light and would recommend it.
