What is a bike head set?
The bike head set
is the collection of parts on a bike that presents a movable interface among the bike fork and the head tube of a bike frame. The tube by which the steerer of the fork crosses is termed the bike head set.

The mountain bike head set
consists of a broad set of ports providing your fork steerer to revolve inside the frames head tube. Every action you make with your above body is conveyed into the bike by the mountain bike head set.

Types of Bike Head set
Tapered Head set
The primary purpose of a tapered head set is to give more comprehensive bike endurance and administration. The tapered fork, in concord with the tapered head set, passes this very upshot perfectly.
Threaded Head set
In the initial design of the threaded head set, bearing cups were pushed into the head tube. The upper cup pivots lay over the races; for the lower cups, the pivots lay below the lower races. The upper bearing is threaded and is kept in place by a threaded fastener nut. Two appropriate spanners are needed to do any modifications.
Threadless Head set
Threadless head sets are also introduced as Ahead sets. Steerers under the unique pattern are not threaded. They use bearing cups that are pushed into the head and the rear of the head tube. The bearings lie externally.
