Approx 16” - i use it on a two bike Thule bike rack for the outer bike. This is not the bracket that came with the rack but a replacement i bought for a faulty one, only problem with the replacement is that the screw head doesn’t lock unlike the original. Hope this helps

we found this spare parts site which is very good we placed an order, identical product to the original I recommend, it´s been two or three since we bought it my husband uses it regularly. very good product, it is for the arm of the 2nd bike, approximately 40 cm.
