This is the second Mezcal tubless tire that I have purchased to replace the other similar one and with 400km, it had good tread but a hole in the sidewall was impossible to treat with wicks or another type of material, it is not possible to patch it for use with liquid. The temporary solution was to install an air chamber and the area of the tire reinforced with rubber until the new one was fitted and I could enjoy this tire again. It's a good, beautiful tire and at a good price.

Для мене на першому місці були Shwalbe Racing Ray + Ralph, але після Barzo + Mezcal я більше нічого не хочу і не шукаю, 29х2.25 важуть 675 (Barzo) та 710 (Mezcal) грам, накат просто відмінний, дуже тиха гума і дуже добре тримає у лісі. Окремо дякую цьому магазину за те, що відправляють в Україну у такий важкий для нас час.

I really needed new tires the ones (other brand and model) were done. The statistics from the 2023 Tour DIvided made me curious about these tires. More than the half of the riders used these tires. While i d not ride the Tour Divide any time soonI I do ride my bike in various terrain. Some asphalt/tarmac, a lot of gravel and more singletrack than tarmac. And these Mezcals preform perfectly on the first few rides. They feel very secure, not to stiff sidewalls and supple enough. Just don't know yet how long they will last. But if the can survice 4300 km Tour Divide a can run them for at least a year.

As name suggested, fast podium xc tire. Side wall is thin which makes the whole tire super light. Good for weight weenie. Careful if terrain is rocky as it may tear the sidewall otherwise it is a fast rolling tire and don't feel the weight.
