Under certain conditions of duration or extreme dryness and dust, the wax loses durability. This is where this oil is a winner, because it is more resistant. It is slightly dirtier than wax (those who say that neither wax nor wax leave your chain clean is exaggerating), but it is still much cleaner than traditional oils. I haven't tried it in rain.

I have been a long time user of X Sauce products. This is the first time I've tried their Watts lubricant. I don't know if it's exactly a wax or an oil. I would say it's a mix of both. In any case, I liked his results in the MTB. I need to try it on the road bike. As always, the first time you apply it you will have to have the entire transmission (chain, sprockets and plates) perfectly clean of any remains of previous lubricant.

Very good lubricant, the good of the oil and the good of the wax. Lubricates the chain very well. The product is quite thick, like wax. It does not stain, does not drip and leaves perfect transmission. After leaving, the dirt on the asphalt does not attract anything. The chain makes no noise and is ready for the next ride. Greases better than wax, dirtier than wax. You gain durability and lubrication but the chain and pulleys get dirtier without reaching the dirt caused by the oil. It's halfway between one thing and another. I recommend it.

I've used several oils and waxes, I'm currently using the normal X-Sauce wax (green) and I was very happy, now I've tested this one and it's MUCH better! The chain lasts many more kilometers flawlessly and the transmission is much better! It doesn't grab dust or mud and is super easy to clean. Right now it's definitely my favorite oil/wax! HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!
