All the well proven benefits of the 2008 Soldier which was itself an improvement on the OH-GAK only WITHOUT serrations. Plan blade is easier to maintain and better for general use. The corkscrew is great for knots and storing other kit making it a better outdoors tool than the models with a dedicated philips driver unless you're field stripping weaponry. Cassic colouring just makes the package far more friendly despite there being no more proven general utility package in militaries across the globe. Perfection for civilian kit.
