It's a lot more flexible than MiFlex! and also works with my Cressi regulator (Master 2nd stage). MiFlex has a problem with Master / Ellipse 2nd stages, hose doesn't swivel when 2nd stage is screwed on to it. Metalsub works! Tried it while diving already, works fine.

I've ordered this hose because my 2nd stage regulator thread did not fit with previous hose that I purchased with local dive shop (I literally tried 3 Different ones but no luck, Miflex, the threaded nut was too shallow and this blocked the rotation. ) 5 ***** for Scubastore for quick delivery and good customer service. The folder is superb with a dimension allowing to install sheets of A5 formats. Convenient to store various collections printed on A4 fold in 2. My old notebook in filofax can settle on 2 of the 3 rings But beware, it turns out to be very complicated to punch the 3 holes! The center line of the holes is 2x70mm while the European standard is 40mm .... And it is impossible to find a hole punch with this standard for A5 format If someone finds, I am interested ;-)

Hi, there are two types of threads that are screwed in at the first stage: thread with M 1/2 male, therefore larger than normal and suitable for regulators such as the Mares Abyss or the old Apeks and standard thread with M 3/8 male which is larger small for all the latest generation first stages, the one you have selected in the photo is M 3/8 therefore smaller.

As a user, I can´t fully answer your question -- the variances would only be in slight material choices; only the manufacturer would be able to answer that but from a user point of view they would be almost the same (i.e. braided felxible hoses) There might be slight variance in the exterior braiding There might be variance in the interior lining; this might be of some importance if you would leave hoses for extended time in direct sun -- but that would also extend to all Flex hoses and if you would like to be on the safer side I would reccomend using rubber hoses. The only flex hose that has known special internal lining advantage I know of are from Mares; they are reinforced (but less flexible) so they have better tear resitance (against sharp objects; not needed for extra flexiblity) I hope this helps
