whisk as in the photo, perfectly faithful color .... be careful of oxidation, for 15 days I did not rinse the stuff because I was on vacation, and when I came back it was slightly oxidized ... I therefore recommend cleaning, putting anti oxidant and every now and then check the fit...

Is the length from "tip to tip"? That is, including the connection or is it just the color part?

The length is from end to end, good quality and a magnificent appearance, note that it comes without rubber protectors that you will have to buy separately if you need them

Hello, not knowing what your equipment is, I cannot answer your first question, in any case the function of this hose is to connect the first MP stage to the direct system inflator. For my part in the following configuration, first stage LEGEND LX and APEKS inflator, it works perfectly well. Regarding your second question, not being a professional, I do not claim to know all the materials, but I do not know either of the materials which would have a different screw thread on the MP of the first stage and a different fast connection on the inflators. Which would tend to say that this hose is indeed suitable at least for recreational diving equipment.
