It meets expectations. I bought it for a non-speaking autistic person so that I could communicate with him underwater. Everything is OK, you can issue short commands. He does his job. A sensible purchase at a reasonable price.
M101A GDivers receiving unit

this unit receives the transmissions from the separate g-divers transmitter unit attached to your buddy's IDM. It picks up the signal well. The down side is it is a little bulky. I let my students wear it when I teach some lessons and I found my students were happy to use it. It is a game changer when teaching but don't expect to have long conversations just short remarks seem to be enough. On longer communications bubbles caused by speaking can interfere with the quality of the transmission. I am happy with it.

It is only a receiver. You must have an Ocean Reef Mercury type transmitter for face mask. But the transmitter can be positioned on any mask strap. Depending on the width of the strap, provide hooking security.

The receiving station can be used with a regular mask because it is only used for receiving. However, a full face mask must be used for the transmitting and receiving station.
