Product description Scubapro Mako Titanium Knife

A STRONG YET LIGHTWEIGHT DIVE KNIFE
Made from hardened titanium, this knife is known for its corrosion-free cutting performance.An old adage among divers is, its better to have a knife and not need it, than to need a knife and not have it. At the same time, you dont want to swim around with a Samurai sword strapped to your leg.
This is where the MAKO TITANIUM excels. Its so light and compact you wont even know its there, yet its titanium blade is incredibly strong, resists rust, and has the hardness to take and hold a sharp edge.
The MAKO TITANIUM is 7.5in/19.1cm long overall, with a 3.35in/8.5cm multi-function blade that includes a serrated edge -- best for sawing through rope, a conventional edge -- best for making clean slicing cuts, a line-cutting notch and a bottle opener. The Tanto tip, with its angled shape, is one of the strongest knife points available and, combined with the different blade edges, makes the MAKO TITANIUM an excellent general-purpose dive knife.
The MAKO TITANIUMs handle offers plenty of gripping area as well as thumb guards to keep the knife from slipping. Included is a locking sheath with a convenient one-hand release mechanism, plus a kit for mounting onto a BC.

Titanium knife with the quality that ScubaPro has accustomed us to. A very very light knife, with a perfect sheath, comfortable rubber lashes to place it on your leg and hooks for the BCD. With a small knife, even for me with a big hand, the handle feels strange in your hand, but in my case it's what I was looking for, I already have another much bigger knife and I wanted something that practically didn't feel it.

Good quality knife that is not too big or bulky and is easy to handle when needed. I have fitted it to my BCD for the time being, but have not done a full evaluation of it in this position so it may be put back to the straps that have easy adjustment.

Very light, very good fixation in/to holder. Comes with rubber/silicone straps which could be removed and fixation bolts/plastic to attach to bcd or etc. Blade is good. Too short hand-grip, I have middle sized hands, but hand-grip is to short for me, I don't have "safe" holding feeling while holding it, but otherwise it's good knife for small hands. Would I by again for myself - no, only because of short grip. But in girlfriend hands it was very ok.
