It's completely waterproof..! I don't know if my hands are cold. One downside is that it's too thick, so my hands get dull and I need a lot of grip.

The Seac dryseal 500 gloves feel a bit rigid at first, but after using them in the water they are not as much, but you need an underwater camera with big levers or push shutters to use them well.

I swim off the coast of SE England and so the temp only gets roll to about 6/7C but these work perfectly and keep my hands very warm. The seal works well but letting a little water in and creating nice tight seal. Relatively easy to get on and off.

I was also pleased with the previous generation of these gloves, the new ones are just fire. There was not enough length, now there is a cuff that securely closes the edge of the sleeve. Out of habit, at first they are harsh, but then they sit on the arm and stretch.
