A great choice for diving in cooler waters, the 5mm SEAC Tekno hood helps keep your body heat from escaping while also adding a comfortable, smooth surface around the neck.
The anatomical shape ensures better adherence to the wetsuit for a more effective seal.
The Tekno hood features an Ultraflex construction for a greater freedom of movement, plus a Thermal Fiber lining for warmth.
The Tekno hood can handle waters with temperatures of 60 to 70 degrees F, as well as warmer waters.

Size it up! According to the size chart, I should have a Large. After reading the reviews I have sized it up and I did the right thing. The inner fleece layer keeps you warm and dry. The other feature is the valve that allows you to release the air, avoiding the balloon effect, that pushes your hood out of the wetsuit.

Excellent quality of the article, I recommend for adult men size L, however size M fits only a little tight; Important to keep in mind in case of orders from Colombia, the customs makes an excessive charge for the purchase, which literally forces you to pay it, in my case it was almost 55% of the value of the hood, DHL impeccable in its delivery time.

I love this product. It's a game changer for keeping warm in the cold water, and would highly recommend buying this product. However the fit is weird. Suggest to buy a size up because the face hole is very small and the neck part doesn't reach/tuck into my wetsuit neck despite it looking very long in the picture. It's very short. Regardless, it still keeps me warm when it's not tucked.

The neck seal worked well with my semi-dry suit as it created a perfect seal. The hood itself i found very good as it covers the forehead keeping out the cold.

My head, according to the measurements table was neither Medium, nor Large but something in between. I bought a Large, and it fits perfectly. The seal around the face is nice and pretty waterproof, even with my beard. The inner fleece layer, is great for warmth. In fact, it doesn't feel wet at all. That and, the smooth section around the neck, makes it combine perfectly with my 5mm fleece-lined semi-dry (Subea SCD900). It connects without leakage to the neck cuff of the suit.

The hood itself in regards to quality is not bad, but some major design flaws persist. First of all the face opening is much to small, we had to widen it which is not nice to do because you never an as good result as when this is done in the factory. second, the neck is much too wide, at least for size S. So there is room for improvement.

The vision hole is large enough to have room for the glasses and regulator. It gets on and off easily. The hood keeps the hood still and gives you an extra warmth in the neck. What I liked the most is the fabric inside (a red coat) that keeps you very comfortable and warm. I have not a single complaint about this product, it is perfect and over for a very reasonable and cheap price compared to other models.

Hood tested at 6 ° C over a drysuit SEACSUB. It takes less water than the shorter model. Compared to my old hood Seac the same size, it is a bit tight and the opening of the face is smaller. It is more difficult d'ajuster the mask but this hood also keeps heat better. The use of different neoprene thicknesses and to the inner coating'plush' make it very comfortable. Excellent hood for very cold waters.
