Cute set but a tough build

I have zero complaints about the Pokemon theme here. The characters are adorable & look very much like their in-game counterparts. I also like the idea of being able to join this set with the other ones to make a large Pokemon display with many different characters. What I wasn´t a fan of is the quality of the blocks themselves. These pieces feel a bit hollow and they are quite difficult to press together & separate from each other if you´ve made a mistake. I helped my 7 year old daughter assemble this set. Some of the pieces were so hard to push together I was having to press them between my shirt & push with all my might. As long as your kid is the type to assemble sets once & leave them that way this will do. If they like to take them apart and rebuild them over and over this probably isn´t for them.

We received this product free of charge for our honest opinion on the product. Overall it is a very cute Pokémon set, but was a little bit hard to put together. My daughter says it’s fun and nice to play with, but the legs/arms come off easily. She loves Eevee so it was a great set to try. It is a super cute picnic scene! You can attach other Pokémon sets together and make it extra fun. It’s a great set for all the Pokémon lovers out there!

My son was really excited to get this. He loves Pokémon. He and his friends at school collect the cards and he has a few other related items. The product was fun to put together. We had some rainy days a few days in a row here and it provided us with a great indoor activity to do together. Kiddos can change out pieces and switch things around to suit their taste.There are other sets you can buy and connect them together too. It’s perfect for children or even some adults who enjoy or collect Pokémon items. We had a fantastic time playing with it together as well.

My daughter had a blast playing with this product. She loved putting it together and then spent a lot of time playing various games with it. She is so excited to get another set so she can combine them and start building a whole world.

This Pokémon Picnic set is very cute! My 9-year old daughter was elated to play with this. It comes with an Evie and a Lucario character. The set is easy to put together, for the most part. It comes with some tiny macarons that are very cute with the picnic cart, but pretty difficult to snap together. My daughter did need help with those. One of the coolest aspects of this set is that you can buy additional sets that attach to this one, to “expand your world”. For my Pokémon loving daughter, that is very appealing (and gives us extra ideas for Christmas and birthdays!). The only negative thing that we could see about this set is that it was missing one piece in the directions, so my daughter was confused about how to finish the umbrella. The piece was in the bag, it just wasn’t shown in the instructions. Not a big deal by any means, especially for how easy it was to figure out once we realized the error. Overall, would highly recommend, especially if you have interest in adding the expanding sets. The entire Pokémon world put together looks totally amazing!

Both of my boys (9 and 11) are in to Pokemon and also love building things so this was a big hit at our house. They were able to build it within a half hour and it held their interest for a couple hours as they wanted to build additional things to go with it. The Pokemon characters are detailed and were my boys favorite pieces.

My eight year old assembled the toy almost completely by herself. She needed a little help with Evee´s legs. My daughter likes that the wheels on the food cart work. She also likes that you can purchase more sets and join them together. I like that the set was perfect for her to build and play with independently. The pieces snap together securely and are sturdy. My daughter has also requested more of the sets, si it was definitely a hit toy!

My daughter loves Pokemon and building blocks so this was definitely a hit! My daughter thought the characters were cute and likes to create posed scenes using the blocks. This keeps my daughter busy for quite a while and when she is done playing she displays the set in her room. This set offers a lot of fun and creativity and would be a great gift for a boy or a girl!
