Technical Features:

- Shell in Carbon-Aramidic-Fiberglass engineered in 3 shell with 4-density EPS structure developed in 4 sizes.
- Integrated Ventilation System with 3 large front vents and 2 rear extractors hollowed in the shell which direct air to the riders head. All vents are adjustable. Internal Deflector on the chin guard airvent to direct air to the chin or to the visor.
- Chin guard air vent removable without tools.Removable nose guard.Max ventilation grid installed under the air vent.
- Interiors construction is engineered to allow an embracing, pressure-free fit and to reduce the noise inside the helmet. Removable wind protector.
- The interior of the helmet is designed to offer the highest riding comfort. All parts are easily removable and washable.
- Neck roll: Shalimar and Nabuk fabric with water resistant treatment prevents water from being channeled inside the helmet.
- Cheek pads: Ritmo fabric with sanitized(antibacterial protection), 2Dry(moisture wicking) and Microsense(premium skin comfort and wearing fluidity) treatments.
- Crown pad: Shalimar with the same treatments listed for cheek pads.
- Fit especially designed to allow wearing glasses.
- Ultra-widw anti-scratch visor with 100% Max Vision Pinlock* anti-fog technology.
- Visor mechanism with multiple steps. A dedicated visor mechanism to use when the peak is in the lower position is included in the box.
- Visor micro-opening system to boost airflow.
- Adjustable peak designed to limit sail effect and enhance stability at high speed.
- Dual purpose:the visor can be removed and the helmet used with an off-road mask. The peak can be removed for a naked configuration.
- Double D retention system.
- Ready for generic communication system.

Having had the previous AGV Dual Sport Ax8 carbon, there is an increase in the quality of materials, the AX9 helmet, despite not being a carbon shell, feels very light. I had the previous one in size M, this I opted for size ML and it goes perfect.

Ive only worn the helmet once so far and that was removed with the peak. I quickly realized its waaay quieter than my old Shoei XR-1000 road helmet! everything on it feels like a premium helmet. The dentists in the visor opening / closing mechanism feel really solid and I can see them staying in place even on rough trails / roads. The speaker cutouts actually fit the 40mm speakers from my Cardo Packtalk Bold intercom perfectly. I didnt manage to get the Packtalk outing clip to clip onto the helmet outer as it seemed the space between the shell and eps foam inner was a bit too tight to get it all the way on, so I used the stick mount which sits nice and flush. Without the peak mounted my XL weighs in white 1365g!

I ride it every day to work (60KM), which part of it is in the city and part on the highway. Excellent helmet in terms of wind buffeting, visibility & weight (very light on the neck). Sometimes i wear my sunglasses - fits perfectly inside, even with the visor closed. In heavy rain the bick helps deflecting the rain drops, and of course i am using the Pinlock internal fog visor. works like a charm! highly recommended.

Excellent choice! I wear this helmet on a daily basis and it is very comfortable on the head & neck. since it is a light weight - u can ride for many hours unnoticeable. Very wide and clear vision, the Anti-Fog is a must(!) and works like a charm. The vent is superb. i ride AfricaTwin .. no buffeting and no significant noise at all. even with the beak. I like the black mat. color - very elegant smooth look. I highly recommend this helmet for all the guys & girls that would like an affordable ADV helmet, including the looks and safety. Cheers.

Today, my friend received this helmet from me as a gift. What can I say, we both use helmets of this company but only the dual ax8 model. so to speak, there is something to compare. And there are really many differences and the most important thing is the noise isolation, it is really redesigned and the helmet has become quieter, which is felt even when just wearing and there is no riding a motorcycle. There is a drawback = it is a little heavier, but these 150-200 grams are not particularly felt. The helmet has not yet been tested on the road, but I'm sure it will show itself in the best way.
