Product description Alpinestars Halo Drystar Jacket

We bring you the new HALO DRYSTAR JACKET motorcycle jacket, it is designed to adapt to weather conditions. It is made with GORETEX fabric that optimizes the qualities of waterproofing, breathability and wind resistance.

This jacket is compatible with the Tech-Air airbag system, which provides comfort and protection. It has a waterproof Drystar lining that can be worn over or under the jacket for optimized protection.

It presents detachable sleeves made of mesh that complements the flow of air, at the same time it offers total protection against impacts. It has a front zipper and storage pockets. A multi-season adventure touring jacket with an innovative technical outer jacket, the Halo Drystar® Jacket can be adapted to the weather conditions; the asymmetric front construction features a very wide vent panel, which combined with the large opening vent panel on the back, delivers optimum levels of airflow. This can be enhanced ever further, thanks to the removable sleeve shell which exposes the full mesh sleeves for unrivalled airflow in the warmest environments, while still delivering full protection against impacts. This jacket is Tech-Air® ready and can accommodate the Tech-Air® 5 Airbag System, for complete upper body protection.

- Fully foldable full mesh front and back ventilation panel bridges efficiently distribute airflow, while the removable sleeve shell allows the jacket to be adapted to suit the weather conditions.
- The packable, waterproof and breathable Drystar® rain jacket delivers guaranteed waterproofing and breathability without excessive material bulk, thus preventing any waterlogging, and can be worn inside the jacket or over the jacket for the ultimate in climate control, and can also be worn as a standalone jacket. The jacket can be stored in the back pocket or in the integrated pocket.
- Hand pockets, lower pocket, front pocket and side cargo pockets for real-world practicality.
- Mesh back pocket for easy, practical and quick use.
- Integrated pocket allows the Drystar® liner to be folded back on itself.
- Removable chest protector pocket for safe storage of valuables.
- PU shoulder reinforcement for additional strength and durability.
- Internal waist belt on main shell for an optimized fit.
- Fluo inserts on Drystar® liner.

- Soft collar construction for enhanced rider comfort.
- Stretch wrist for an optimized fit.
- Multi-adjustment arms for a tailored fit.
- Left and right removable sleeves are identified with a label for ease of use when connecting them back to the jacket.

- Nucleon Flex Pro armor delivers optimal protection against impacts.
- Featuring an engineered fit to deliver the highest level of active protection, this jacket is Tech-Air® ready and can accommodate the Tech-Air® 5 Airbag System, for complete upper body protection.
- According to European statutory law the CE mark is a conformity requirement for the marketing of this product. The following standards apply: Fully CE-certified motorcycling garment – AA class (Class AA when sleeves are on; Class A without sleeves).

Good price/quality

Excellent coat overall. For sportier driving positions it is not the best option. Maximum for sport touring. If I tighten the jacket as much as possible, it restricts my neck and movement with the helmet a little. Still, overall I don't regret buying it.

Only worn it a few times so far. Appears to be good quality. Superb ventilation and pockets. Is quite heavy but don't notice when wearing it. Shame doesn't come with a back protector.

Fantastic jacket

The best jacket I have ever had! The large ventilation areas at the front, the back and the zipper arms are fantastic during warm days. When it gets colder, just zip them up. When it gets really cold, just grab the rain jacket from the back pocket and you are warm again!

A very comfortable jacket with plenty of features and numerous pockets. For those who want a good enduro touring jacket, this is a fantastic option!

A true 4 season jacket

It's so versatile, I needed 40 minutes to figure out every "mode" the jacket can be worn. Adjustable fit, but very heavy. You also get a rain jacket, which can be worn as a standalone rainshell. In short the jacket is very techincal, very well built, very complicated to figure out, but once you do, you'll love every minute wearing it. Buy this one if you need a great touring jacket.

Top processed jacket with many possibilities. It is very comfortable to wear and has countless adjustment options.

The only thing that surprised me is the heavy weight of the jacket, which is not noticeable when wearing it.

Functional

Has a lot of funtionality for the price, but it is very heavy and a bit small. I measured using the size chart, that put me in medium. Everything I wear is normaly medium, but this jacket is very tight.

Surprisingly solid (and heavy)

The first thing I noticed was the weight. The thing weighs more than my bike. It's surprisingly solidly built (it appears) with solid materials even for the inner mesh arms and mesh panels. I have not weighed it, but it feels like 10kg - it's way heavier than my klim goretex jacket which was previously my heaviest jacket. I ordered and paid, then the price dropped so I cancelled and ordered again. This may help you.
