The Apalaches jacket is the result of the hard work of our team to design a versatile textile jacket, optimised for intense use. Every detail has been designed to make all your journeys safer and more enjoyable.
Care:
- Always let your garment air dry after use. Never sun-dry it or put it directly in contact with a heating source as it could damage the leather.
- Do not store your jacket in a bag or in an airtight container. Humidity can damage the garment.
- Clean your garment on a regular basis (once a month) with a damp sponge and mild detergent (i.e. household soap). Let air dry and then wipe with a soft cloth soaked with cleansing milk (i.e. baby cleansing milk) to nourish the leather, preserve its flexibility and avoid premature drying of the material.
- If required you can wash the inside of your garment as follows:
Remove all the protectors as well as the removable thermal insert.
Fasten the zips and velcro.
Hand-wash your jacket inside out with a mild detergent and tepid water (30°c).
Slow-spin dry your garment in your washing machine, with low speed and still inside out to avoid damages on the external protection shells (600 rpm maximum).
Air dry in the shade, with a container below.
- To moisturise your jacket usea soft cloth and baby cleansing milk.
- In cases where the leather has dried out, use Furygan’s leather grease, available in all Furygan dealers.
- You can use a waterproofing spray on leathers as it makes the leather more resistant to water as well as to dirt.
- The NEW TEXAS / NEW TEXAS OUTLAST jackets CANNOT be moisturised. As the leather is oily and it won’t dry. To remove greasy stains, apply “Terre de Sommières”, and use a crepe rubber eraser to clean it (available in shoe repair shops).
- Removable thermal inserts can be washed in the washing machine with a wool washing liquid, on a delicate cycle, 30°c maximum and a medium spin drying (800 rpm maximum).
- No dry cleaning

Excellent coat for all year round. I've already had the opportunity to use it, and it's very comfortable and warm. I'm waiting for the summer, without the thermal lining, to prove the effectiveness of the ventilation system. It would deserve 5* if it weren't for being a little heavy. I am very satisfied with my choice. Delivery, as always, fast and efficient. I recommend!

a jacket that at first glance seems impeccable! but after 10,000km and even well before (6 months of daily use around 6,000km) everything is no longer so perfect. the velcro is all out of order, and I also saw it on the jacket of a colleague who has the same one. The clips that hold the collar flap open don't hold anything very quickly. the waterproofing is pretty good, I'm Breton, and I don't wear rain gear on top. I only took the float once through the AFS ventilation zips (which were closed). this ventilation, once the D3O backbone is installed, no longer works well. the air does not circulate when you have a backpack. I ride a Ducati super sport, perhaps due to the fairing??? in short, it is not expensive, but it is not cheap. It's a good jacket, but it's clear that the Velcro = copy needs to be reviewed. As for the pants, they are good although a little tight in the stomach when you wear pants and jacket on a sports bike. And the legs are narrow at the bottom.. Just right with TCX sportout S boots.

Very comfortable jacket taken in black, gray and fluorescent yellow because it allows you to be better seen by road users. Very good motorcycle jacket ... only one downside the D30 back protector remains optional and I think being a biker that safety should not be an option. I recommend this motorcycle jacket, it is great with many pockets, including one completely waterproof for the smartphone ️. Do not hesitate this jacket is great taken in double XL (I measure 1.83m for 93kg) it adjusts to the size perfectly with scratch straps really a very very good jacket. Hi fellow JM bikers

I ordered my jacket on April 18 and received it on April 26. I am 1.86m and 98kg, I ordered an XL, the size is great. The jacket is super well made, very good quality, already tested in the cold and it's great, even missing in the rain. The only thing is the shoulder and elbow protectors a bit too soft. I ordered from Switzerland and I got customs fees of 43.30fr, so the final price is 238fr. But in the end I'm very happy.

I ship in three days, super fast, the jacket is baggy, in other jackets I take the xl, here I asked for the 2xl so that it would be baggy, it fits perfectly clothes underneath, nothing wrinkles, yes, it is heavy, but it is normal, for My only has one flaw, the zipper goes up to the top of the flap, and with the neck closure it bothers a bit, if the zipper is lowered a little, perfect, the jacket with a day at 0 degrees, only with a T-shirt short sleeve underneath and perfect.

I use M in all jackets, but when I wear pants with hip protectors I decided to order the L (I´m 1.69, 72kg and I´m on a maxiscooter). I have succeeded! It is loose but not with folds on all sides, and a length of 4 fingers below the hip. Good adjustment of cuffs and waist. Finishes of 10. Perhaps the neck gap is somewhat wide even with the velcro closure at the top. Freedom of movement by crossing arms or raising them. Comfortable, in the absence of testing it tomorrow at 2-3°C at 5 in the morning. Satisfied with the purchase and the delivery time (6 calendar days).

Size 2xl perfect for me 1m81 93kg good protection jacket a little light elbow shoulder but present lacks the back but easy to find in different brands, functional and (2) waterproof pockets, nice little hook at the neck to prevent movement of the collar while riding .

This is a very nice jacket. The fit great and is true to size for me. With the liner in I find the jacket a little snug for my liking but still very comfortable. Lots of pockets and vents. Great price for a jacket that in my opinion is as nice as the very expensive brands. I highly recommend this jacket! I am 6'tall, 225 pounds. I purchased the xxl.
