The fifth instalment of this successful Solar series design comes with more cushioning and breathability, as well as a lower profile that will delight neutral runners on their training days.
The boost™ midsole returns in the SOLARGLIDE® 5 with a renewed silhouette, using a sinuous dual-density design that offers both cushioning in the heel and explosive responsiveness in the forefoot. The LEP 2.0 system delivers more stability and power in several racing conditions. Meanwhile, the Continental™ composite rubber outsole now features even tougher rubber inserts for durable, bump-proof traction.
Made in Primegreen and with 50% recycled material, the SOLARGLIDE® 5’s upper has an aerodynamic profile and reduced height to give you less resistance as you increase your speed. Good quality, very comfortable in cushioning and width. Perfect for me 183 cm and 82 kg. They make you feel safe with every stride. They give me a little more stability than the ultraboost 21 I come from. To put a small but it would be the weight, a little lighter would be ideal.

These shoes feel very comfortable on the feet and the delivery was very fast compared to other services that deliver stuff from Europe to Kazakhstan. This model has many good reviews and I agree with them. The stability is top level and they are soft. The only thing I do not like is that the shoe feels a little bit loose on my right foot in the back. That means the lockdown around heels could have been better.

The truth is that I went from pegasus to Adidas and it was very comfortable, knowing that I run between 5 and 13 km daily, very comfortable but I feel that it lacks flexibility

I ordered them on a Friday and they arrived on a Wednesday, with MRW. It's not bad, but I'm used to buying online and it usually takes less time. As for the shoes, they are a bit stiff to put on, but I'm used to this with other Adidas models. They need a few days of shooting before they are at their peak. They look good, yes. Stable and cushioned, even if they weigh a little more than average.

Compared to the previous generation, these Adidas Solar Glide 5 are more oriented towards a use for slow and regenerating runs, that's where they express their best.
