The fifth instalment of this successful Solar series design comes with more cushioning and breathability, as well as a lower profile that will delight neutral runners on their training days.
The boost™ midsole returns in the SOLARGLIDE® 5 with a renewed silhouette, using a sinuous dual-density design that offers both cushioning in the heel and explosive responsiveness in the forefoot. The LEP 2.0 system delivers more stability and power in several racing conditions. Meanwhile, the Continental™ composite rubber outsole now features even tougher rubber inserts for durable, bump-proof traction.
Made in Primegreen and with 50% recycled material, the SOLARGLIDE® 5’s upper has an aerodynamic profile and reduced height to give you less resistance as you increase your speed. Mesh density is reduced for higher breathability, while the heat-sealed reinforcements in the toe and midfoot improve support and durability.
When you´re building consistency, upping your distance or training for a PB, these Solarglide 5 Shoes are the ones you leave by the door to support your goals.
They´re packed with performance technology, from the energy-returning BOOST midsole to the supportive knit upper.
The adidas LEP 2.0 helps guide the foot from heel-strike to a snappy toe-off.
This shoe´s upper is made with a high-performance yarn which contains at least 50% Parley Ocean Plastic — reimagined plastic waste, intercepted on remote islands, beaches, coastal communities and shorelines, preventing it from polluting our ocean.
The other 50% of the yarn is recycled polyester.

Shoes 38(BR) in adidas form I ordered the 40(EU) and it was perfect, it is very beautiful and comfortable. Stay tuned, I was taxed in Brazil and had to pay 200 reais in tax. Other than that I really liked it!

Beautifully designed shoes with incredible comfort and cushioning as impressive as Ultraboost 20/21. A bit heavy, but amazingly comfortable on long (>10K) runs. The only niggle is the tongue, which is very thin and flimsy, and tends to roll in on itself, which is irritating. Overall a great looking shoe which does the job
