The Terrex Skychaser 2.0 has been won over by the boost™ midsole thanks to its high energy return and soft, all-purpose cushioning, with a higher foam density and better distribution across the sole unit. The Continental™ compound rubber outsole’s legendary traction also returns to give you optimal grip no matter how wet or hard the terrain, now welcoming the innovative PROTECTION PLATE® for increased wear resistance and safety.

The upper also has seen significant upgrades, with several heat-sealed reinforcements forming a tough, durable cage around its textile mesh for increased shock absorption. As always, I ordered a size larger, but the shoe is larger... and it is very stiff, sometimes it really hurts... but I just hope that it will "break in"... otherwise a very good one Shoe, with ingenious light cushioning, I wore the previous model beyond recognition...let's see if it can do the same!!!

I have had adidas Terrex for a few years now, great X trainer & great for hiking, great service from runner inn Spain, just allow a few days once they arrive in the UK from Spain which is a couple of days. All in all great.

Stiff shoe

I wanted this shoe for trail running. It is possible to run however it is very stiff and not soft as a running shoe. it is very stable though and it holds the ground very good. I would not but this as a trail running, for hiking and walking it can do a good job.

The tennis shoes arrived on time and are very nice, only when I put them on it turned out that they are too big for me, I would say at least one size large, so I recommend ordering one size smaller. I ordered 43 and I had to order the 42 again, because I loved them

What temperature range are these shoes rated for? Is the upper textile waterproof?

From my experience, the temperature recommendation ranges from 0º to 34º, as these were the temperatures at which I wore the sneakers and I always felt comfortable. As for waterproofing, only sneakers with Gore-Tex offer this effect. They withstand a light rain without getting water inside.

How does this shoe fit in size? I have Adidas shoes in size 42. Should I go for 42 or size 42 2/3 with these shoes?

Good, these shoes are trail shoes, they are not like running shoes, I would advise you to rock the 42 2/3 because a good sock will come in handy. Cheers

My husband usually wears a 44 from other brands of sneakers and from Adidas he needs the 45 2/3. I hope it helps you!
