On this occasion LA SPORTIVA presents the new ultra raptor ii trail running shoes, the upper part is made of high-performance synthetic materials.
It has a braided fastening system and padded tongue. It has a stabilizer heel that guarantees maximum protection when walking. The midsole is made of two different layers, the first an Endurance platform that provides maximum cushioning and the second a thicker layer to increase comfort.
Internally it is made of quick-drying materials.
The Ultra Raptor II is an all-terrain Mountain Running® shoe perfect for long distance runs and ventures off the beaten path. A full-length rock guard and an ultra sticky rubber outsole offers maximum protection and stability, while the wicking AirMesh mesh upper keeps you cool, dry, and comfortable so you can continue to focus on the trail ahead of you.

I waited a few weeks before reviewing these so I could try them on various terrains. I'm very impressed! They have excellent grip but not quite so on steep wet hardpack. What shoe would? Going down on the same ground, they are awesome. I've ran over rocks, logs roots and much more. The fit is comfortable and I'm glad I went a half size up as recommended. They are stable and offer great protection. It'd be hard to go past the Raptors next time
