Merrell Vapor Glove 4 Shoes offer you a sensation of the terrain as never you have felt, besides or guaranteeing stability, optimal grip, breathability, low profile, and durability so you can reach even further and further in the mountains or the city.
These running shoes are designed with a Vibram TC5+ sole, made with an ultra-resistant rubber material to abrasions, superior grip, stability, and support. The Merrell Barefoot 2 construction allows a clear perception of the terrain like you have the foot naked, and the TPU Hyperlock heel provides great traction and safety on each step.
In the upper, they have a Cordura mesh with TPU coating that favors durability and ventilation of the foot. The M Select FRESH technology is responsible for absorbing the bad smell of the shoes, thanks also to the breathable mesh lining. These trail running shoes come with an integrated insole and normal laces closure.
This minimalist training shoe offers the greatest freedom and connection to the terrain when running, walking or doing other activities with which to achieve a more natural experience and gain sensitivity on the sole of the foot, reacting better to changes in the terrain.

I love the feeling of having ,to walk/run with the almost barefoot experience. I'll try running short distances on treadmills first before going on road runs. I think my feet has gotten weaker since running in cushioned shoes for a long time.

Love the look and feel of the vapor glove 4. Would love to try the vapor glove 5 but I hear they are discontinued, and hoping they will be releasing the vapor glove 6 very soon!!
Best barefoot running shoe

It's my 2nd pair of Vapor glove, the best barefoot shoe in my opinion - super durable, lightweight, fits really like a glove, super comfortable and it's versatile. I can put an insole or even a rock plate in the shoe for more comfort, when running ultra trails. Not the best choice for muddy, snowy, icy terrain, but great for everything else.

They are not the first that I use, with these that I just bought there are already six pairs, I have always used them for running except for a pair that I have only for daily use. At the moment I don't know any better ones, they are perfect for me. For those who are interested in minimalist sneakers, I recommend them.

Great shoe, almost the only model that adapts to a wide foot, with the base of the big toe well clear, and so far, great support. I took a second pair: I had my first pair resole in a climbing shoe.

Good shoes to start in minimalism. The relief is quite noticeable since they are quite thin, and the grip is quite good except in mud that they slip a lot. It is recommended to buy a fairly fair size so that they are well adjusted to the foot.

These are my second pair of Vapor Gloves, I have a ver. 2 still in rotation. Those shoes are very light and un-constrictive, but yet very durable. I use them mainly as a daily wear, with occasional run thrown in. These (ver. 4) are about the same in fit and feel, only difference is in the sole pattern (more trail oriented). Ground feel is exquisite. Although they look slim in construction, there is enough room for toe splay, something I'm grown accustomed too and wouldn't go without (all my other shoes are Altra).
