The Nike Wildhorse 7 trail running shoes are built to last. Rugged, comfortable, and well-cushioned, these shoes keep sand and rocks at bay to keep your eyes right on the summit.

The Nike React midsole gives you soft, springy cushioning at any pace, with a dual-density layer at the heel adding comfort for your Achilles tendon. The Wildhorse 7´s rubber outsole gives you multidirectional, durable traction thanks to its wear-resistant lugs. When the terrain is more aggressive than you´d expect, a Rock plate protects your foot from rocks and steep inclines.

The Wildhorse 7’s upper is made of a lightweight, durable, and breathable mesh that increases airflow inside. A heat-sealed toecap reinforcement protects your toes, while the Dynamic Fit system at the instep gives you a smooth, stable ride. A sock-like heel collar stabilizes your feet even further and keeps gravel and dirt out. Take on those tough and extreme trail runs with the rugged build of the Nike Wildhorse 7.The upper delivers durable ventilation with support where you need it.Foam midsole cushioning provides responsiveness on every mile.

I had never had a trail Nike and they have surprised me. Very comfortable with good cushioning, they do not tighten excessively and grip well, separate studs ideal for mud.
