Salewa Dropline Trail Running Shoe is a strong, lightweight and comfortable running shoe that is designed for everyone who chooses comfort. This versatile shoe provides excellent stability and traction even in rugged terrain.
The exclusive Pomoco Outsole which enables the shoe to penetrate into the ground and creates a good friction against the wet rocks while you are trail running. The shoe provides high performance and stability even in wet and slippery surfaces. It works exceptionally well on all sorts of trails. Also, it can effortlessly manage all climate conditions and is resilient. The Anti-Rock Heel Cup fixes the heel firmly in place, adding extra stability and protection. In addition, the Ortholite footbed provides additional cushioning and wicks away moisture, helping to keep feet cool and dry. And the stretch gaiters keep out trail debris, such as grit and leaves.

We designed the Dropline with a lightweight air mesh construction and a performance EVA midsole that provides more cushioning and comfort for softer landing comfort and minimized impact on your muscles and joints. The newly developed sole pack with our S-Path design promotes a more natural, smoother roll-off and efficient heel-to-toe transition during rapid, dynamic hiking – especially on descents – as well as superb stability. The rounded Pomoca outsole performs well with good traction in all types of terrain. All-round protection comes courtesy of our core Salewa footwear technology. The 3F system, wrapping EXA Shell and anti-rock heel cup supportively lock your foot in place and ensure directional stability. Inside, a breathable OrthoLite footbed further improves the cushioning and also wicks away moisture to keep your feet cooler and drier. The Dropline is an agile speed hiking shoe for women, built for shock absorbency, stability and support for longer and safer rapid hiking sessions in rugged terrain.

Interesting sneakers. Very tight fit on the leg, but the leg quickly gets used to it. There is no discomfort! Comfortable. Unusually thick sole. The leg seems to be rolling over the surface. For the trail - what you need!

Waterproof/Goretex?

Hello, the properties of the shoe say "waterproof", but I can´t find anything in the description about it (Goretex membrane or similar). Is the shoe waterproof or not? Many thanks for a short-term feedback. Greetings Sybille

Hello! There is really no indication of a membrane. Shoes were not used in rainy weather. Top of the shoe - mesh fabric, dense weave. Probably can be treated with a water-repellent composition. With water protection, it is more correct to use, for example, Salewa MTN Trainer Lite. Good luck!
