I wanted a sandal with a sole with off-road capabilities (this model is not totally for hiking, but it's not a smooth sole either, and it seems like it won't wear out easily) I also wanted low weight ((these weigh 276g per sandal in size 43) I mean, they are not ultra-light either, but that's okay)) and compressible so that they take up as little space as possible in the backpack (I'm happy with this) They have quality and a good finish but I haven't tried them yet. I do not like that there is an excess strip on the velcro when squeezing the area of the fingers. Regarding the size, I trusted the comments and asked for a size less and my toes practically fit flush with the sandal, that is, I had to exchange them for my usual and perfect size.

Other models have weld or glued the sole in the low part of the foot, which make these models more propensity to unstick. Especially in hot environments where the glue could be affected by the warm of the soil, pavement, sand, etc. I definitely recommend this model, is very comfortable. I just suggest ask for a half or one size low that the customer normally uses.
