A flexible ESS forefoot rock plate protects the foot from stone-bruising while the ghillie lacing system ensures a secure midfoot fit.

Topo athletic Terraventure trail running shoes

Very nice shoe for lightweight hiking

I bought this for hiking after Altra Lone Peak 4.5 and I was positively surprised. Durability and fit are much much better for. It is also lighter. Width is the same wide as Altra and good room for toes. I recommend this for a long distance hiker who values wide fit, durability and lightweight. I have normal size 42.5 and order the same and its perfect!

Comfortable shoes for their shape, they have an excellent hold. For those with wide feet they are perfect!

similar to the ultra venture, but a bit less cushioning. lovely wide toe box, and very limited heel-toe drop ,which is what i'm after in a shoe. felt comfy to try, a bit snug in the mid-foot but that's more my high volume foot than anything else.

The Terraventure is a great sports shoe. I like the design, but the color especially the space for the toes. Fit is outstanding, nothing presses and I run like in the "living room". One star less because the shoe is not equipped with a membrane. But who wants to be perfect?
