Great for Ultras

My second pair of these. They are great for long distance trail runs. They are firm witch I like but won't suite if you like a lot of cushion. The only downside is they are not that well vented so your feet can get a bit hot in them - I just take them off at rest stops on Ultras and so far so good on blisters.

Ideal shoes for technical terrain and climbs. Also ideal for all those looking for a natural footprint and roominess in the forefoot to combat problems such as neuroma de morton and fasciitis. They have enough outsole so that you don't dig into rocks on terrain like MOntserrat and Garraf, and at the same time have enough sensitivity to feel connected to each surface. Although I already use them for 21k mountain races with 1000+ and they are great for me, on very technical and steep descents it may be necessary to wear them well tied so that the foot is well fixed and does not slip forward excessively.
