The 3rd edition of the Tradeinn International Triathlon - 1406INN comes with many new features. The Triathlon reference event in the province of Girona multiplies its offer of races with up to four races in one weekend!

Saturday 05/13/2023. Road: Full and Half Distance.

The emblem test of the event will continue to be the Full distance. With already two editions behind it, being the only Long Distance Triathlon in Spain with a cycling route in a single lap, 140.6INN will once again offer all triathletes in the world the opportunity to discover the cycling paradise that is the Province of Girona in an epic and spectacular event that ends in the epicenter of Platja d´Aro, the nerve center of tourism on the Costa Brava.

After 3.8 km of swimming in the calm waters of the Mediterranean, the triathletes will cover the 180 km through unique landscapes of the Costa Brava i l´Empordà. Once the cycling circuit is completed, the triathletes will cover 42.2 km through the center of Platja d´Aro enjoying the great atmosphere of the city. Undoubtedly, a spectacular challenge that will culminate with a finish line in the heart of Platja d´Aro where the athlete will receive his long-awaited and precious finisher´s medal.

On the other hand, the Half Triathlon will be held simultaneously with the Full test. With distances of 2, 90 and 21km along the same emblematic and privileged circuits of the Costa Brava and Girona. Undoubtedly a more affordable challenge but just as spectacular that will increase the range of triathletes who want to enjoy the event.

Sunday 05/14/2023. Gravel: Half and Olympic Distance

The great novelty of this edition is the birth of the Gravel Triathlon. An unprecedented discipline in the world of triathlon that has the peculiarity of being carried out with "Gravel" bicycles. These bikes are similar to road bikes but with a wider wheel arch to allow the use of mountain tires for riding trails and dirt tracks.

The triathletes face a swimming circuit in the calm waters of the Mediterranean, a cycling route that will run 98% through unpaved sections crossing the natural area of Les Gavarres and to finish a race on foot through the mountains that will take them to the finish line of this spectacular and epic challenge in the center of Platja d´Aro.

Gravel triathlon distances will be “Half” (2-75-17) or “Olympic” (1.5 - 35-9)

Without a doubt, 140.6INN will be the Triathlon event of the year in the Province of Girona and will give triathletes from all over the world the opportunity to get to know Girona in the best possible way: Playing sports.
