About Sergio Tacchini

Sergio Tacchini, a famous Italian tennis player, decided to create his own line of tennis sportswear between 1959 and 1966. The first innovation that was introduced was the usage of colours and stripes in tennis clothes. The brand became famous for its elegance and style and also thanks to its great endorsers such as John McEnroe, Jimmy Connors, Martina Navratilova, Pete Sampras, Martina Hingis, Sergi Bruguera and many more. Based on innovation, Sergio Tacchini kept improving its product lines. By the end of the 1990s there were around 200 stores throughout Europe. The brand, represented now by Novak Djokovic, is one of the leaders in tennis outfit.
