Our highest performance/weight ratio Speed Touring ski for steep, firm terrain
The DYNAFIT Speed 76, weighing in at 1,070 grams in size 167, is the classic speed ski in the new ski product line from DYNAFIT.
This model meets the needs of fast, passionate ski tourers who seek a lightweight, easy-handling touring ski for technically demanding terrain.
The full micro sidewall construction is designed with weight reduction in mind and promises higher resistance to impacts than traditional sidewalls.
Its 3D construction was specially developed to reduce the density and thus the swing weight of the ski in front of and behind the binding. This guarantees stable handling despite such a light weight.
The rocker construction at the tip and tail and the sidecut are also adapted for each ski size, a unique feature in the ski touring market. This keeps the effective edge length equally proportional to each size, allowing it to function independent of the size.
This model features a Paulownia Speed Core wood core.

My level of skiing is medium, I have no technique but I go down quite a few places. Is this model recommended for hard snow? Due to their low weight, they are usually less reliable on icy snow and the ski lasts less. Is that so? Thank you

This model is quite versatile, precisely in hard snow it goes quite well planted. If you ask me about very soft snow... things change. It is not his specialty given his dimensions, but without problems either. With this waist width I don´t miss more size, especially because of how well these skis steer. In my case, I use a DNA for racing and fast training and the Speed 76 for everything else, and the truth is that I use these more and more and leave the DNA for a few cases. Regarding durability and maintenance: You don´t have to have the care that you have with some competition skis (I´ve already matched one), these are more solid and have more edge to sharpen and maintain the soles.
