I have a xiaomi convector heater and wanted to use this sensor to switch the heater on and off at different temperatures. Unfortunately this doesn't work. I also have to be very close if I want to be able to see the values in the app and I have to reconnect every time. Values themselves are good. Reasonably fast delivery, good job.

You can easily flash this sensor with a different firmware via a web interface (Telink Flasher for Mi Thermostat) and then use it in Homeassistant with extended functions, for example. Just perfect. Together with a Bluetooth proxy, they work in the entire house, including the basement, without any problems. I'm excited.

Item is as described. In the smart home environment, the sensor provides the values of temperature, humidity, dew point and battery level. As a gateway I recommend an ESP32 with Tasmota Bluetooth. Perfect for e.g. B. OPENHAB over MQTT. The only disadvantage: the distance to the hub is small because of Bluetooth. Reasonable shipping costs and respected delivery times.

Item as described, original in sealed package. In the package you will not find the battery (CR2032), as reported in the instructions. Firmware to be updated but the operation is trivial from the "XIAOMI Home" app. Reasonable shipping costs and respected delivery times.
