Being a product designer myself I was blow away when I found these online a couple years ago and ordered a pair. Now with the Rockets showing a bit of ware on the Vibram soles I thought I better order another pair. When I find a near perfect product I always like to buy a second one! They fit perfectly and once you have the two sets of laces set then I never need to adjust the orange ones and only use the black ones. The exo skeleton over the laces for I assume stiffiness is a neat detail. Both of my big toe joints barely bend from injuries so I need fairly stiff shoes and these are just right for hiking in the Southwest over slick rock and sand along with granite in the California Sierras and wet roots in coastal forests. For me they are the perfect lightweight (packs under 30 lbs) hiking shoe. Hopefully in another couple years Aku will still be making the Rocket in this exact color combo so I can order another pair! Oh and a USA 10.5 is dead on. I do have fairly narrow feet. Also ordering from Italy is no problem with no added import fees to California. Keep up the excellent work!

Only had them for about 2 weeks now. The tighter top lacing does get in the way of the regular lacing, which makes tying the shoes a little tricky. I am learning to live with it, lol. They are comfortable and have good grip.
