these boots are exceptionally well made and fit perfectly. i am very happy with this purchase. the nbk (non-goretex lined version) has an all leather liner which is beautifully made and exceptionally comfortable. please note that the goretex version of these boots has a synthetic cloth liner which will tend to make your feet feel warmer (and sweatier) in most conditions. unless you plan to do a lot of hiking in very wet conditions, i would recommend the nbk version and use a good beeswax sealer like sno-seal to keep the leather supple and generally waterproof. that said, order turnaround, shipping and communication from trekinn could be greatly improved. given all of the negative reviews online about trekinn i was concerned that maybe the boots would be "lost in transit" like so many have written horror stories about, but after about a month the boots finally showed up. trekinn did sent me an update ,with a tracking number and photo of the package prepared for overseas shipment, but this wasn't until about 10 days after i had placed the order and was starting to become worried. their original estimated delivery date was also missed by two weeks. once i got the tracking number i could use that to see the progress (and delays) of the shipment overseas and finally for delivery to my home so that helped a bit. despite the shipping challenges, you will not find a better quality boot for the price, so i'm pretty satisfied.
