Hi Jordan, I think so, what I think happens is that it will look very scratched! It is shiny and I think that any scratches will be quite noticeable! That is good for slipping! It is light and comfortable, but I don´t know how much rock impact it would withstand! I use it for Skimo in a potential fall and rock impact scenario.

This helmet has many advantages, lightness, easy adjustment, comfort, good protection... I think it is too "light" for caving: the film that protects the polystyrene is very thin and very sensitive to abrasion... the slightest impact leaves a trace, when you know the constraints undergone by a helmet in caving, friction, mud, narrowness etc... I do not recommend it for this discipline. This helmet is better suited to alpine, climbing or canyoning.

The outer shell is just very thin plastic I'm not a caver but I don't think it would hold up Also if you have a large head it doesn't fit well. My black diamond fits better. I think the solid plastic petzl vertex might be better for you

Hey Jordan, yes i think it would, for me it is a good fit and when i make the ribbons tight, it is quite stiff but i use it for ski touring with a thin cap.
