We've had a littlelife carrier for a while - our baby loves it (she starts climbing in whenever she sees it). The sun shade is a great upgrade for the carrier - it fits nicely into the slots on the carrier, and it provides good protection from the sun, without limiting the baby's freedom of movement. The sun shade does make the carrier taller by 15-20cm, so depending on how you wear it, you should be careful when going under low hanging branches or through doorways.
