I ordered these boots for hiking and outdoor/bushcraft/camping in size 45. They fit like a glove! My feet are usually a little too narrow for the usual boot sizes, I usually have to be careful not to buy the "broad" or "wide" size variant. This is not the case here. I'm 1.90m 95kg and I'm very comfortable in the boots. So far I haven't had the opportunity to test the water-repellent properties of the boots. But they are very well made and I'm sure the GoreTex fabric does what it's supposed to do :)

Absolutely love these Lowa Renegade boots which have been comfortable from the moment I put them on. Locking lug on the laces means that you can have different tension on the upper and lower half of the boot laces. Totally waterproof, breathable, light and easy to walk for miles in. Delivered on time. First pair of Lowa to replace my Asolo who were 10 years old. First outing in the forest mixed soil, earth and flint, average height difference, 8 km. Very good comfort, no overheating, the Vibram sole absorbs stones. For the moment very satisfied with these Lowa.

I recieved the shoes a couple of days ago, this is the second time that im buying the Lowa Renegade shoes. They are great for trekking through wet surfaces and they have a great grip although the mud and water.

Workmanship dropped significantly

Twice I ordered these boots of 41 sizes and each ended up with a manufacturing defect - namely, asymmetrical boots - one pair had different toes in their completeness (this was also visible visually, since the pieces of material were different in size), the other pair had an incorrectly shaped sole on the left boot - the axis of the bootleg as if tumbled inward, while the axis of the bootleg of the right is strictly vertical (as it should be). For both orders I make a return with photos of defects.

Pleasant skin, light gloves at a temperature of 0 +/- 5 degrees Celsius. Size S in terms of girth approached, but the fingers are short for 5-10 mm.

These are my second set of Renegades, after 6 years with my first set and only after a backpack trip through lava fields caused a blowout tear of the rubber toe rand. These are the best fitting, most comfortable hiking boots on the market.
