Merrell Moab 2 Mid Goretex Hiking Boots have been designed for excursionists who want greater protection and safety in their explorations to the mountains since not only offer excellent grip, cushioning, and safety, but also impermeability, and breathability against unexpected weather changes.

These mountain boots have a Vibram TC5+ sole with a stud pattern of 5mm so you can walk in rugged, muddy, or rocky terrains with the best grip and traction. The EVA midsole provides excellent stability and cushioning, while the Merrell M Select construction gives great support against sharp objects on the bridge and heel.

The Goretex membrane offers a high resistance to water and maximum absorption of moisture which guarantees a good control on ventilation. The upper of these trekking boots is built with leather and mesh which make them very resistant and breathable, and the protective toe cap that avoids bumps on the fingers. In the interior, they have a mesh lining, gusseted foam tongue to avoid the entry of dust and stones.

They are good hiking boots. Merrell sizes are the same as Salomon. I recommend one size less in Merrell, since in this model they are wider.

Hello, I have BOreal and the size is 42.5 but with Columbia it corresponds to a 43. What would be the appropriate size here? Thank you

You have to take into account mountain footwear. Depending on the model, the size may vary. For example in; Boreal and Scarpa. In Boreal, Scarpa and Merrell my number is 41.5. In Salomon, Asics, Adidas and New Balance my number is 42. If the size does not fit you, it is always better to exchange the product. Since good footwear is very resistant and durable. Greetings.

I wear many pairs of these boots, my size is 42 but because of thicker socks I use 43 for the mountains.
