These mountain shoes are made with Vibram TC5+ and 5mm studs that guarantee superior grip, traction, and adherence to a great variety of technical terrains. The EVA midsole provides stability and cushioning and the Merrell Air Cushion increases protection in the heel.
The upper has bovine suede leather and mesh throughout the foot, so ventilation is constant and resistance to wear is assured. These trekking shoes include a breathable mesh lining, removable EVA insole, protective toe cap, foam and gusseted tongue, and nylon coating for greater safety.

This is my third pair of Merrell Moab 2 Ventilator shoes within past 3-4 years. Shoes are excellent and delivery quite ok, however this last pair does not fit but too small. All my Merrell shoes are 42 size but these shoes may be marked wrong as they are too small. Now I need to go through all the hassle by returning and wait for my back payment which is not quite convenient. Nothing wrong with the store, but there should be an option to change sizes more easy and without cost.

Despite their broad shape and weight they feel good on the foot and can be worn all day without problems. Grip super dry and wet something more committed if you compare it with salomon for example I also have the boots and feel equally good. The insole is very comfortable making them very stable with a discreet fit considering that they are walking shoes.

We'll see when you really try them on the mountain. It would be very important that the manufacturers, together with the other specifications, indicate in each model the type of last that it has, if it is wide, medium or narrow and this would help us to choose the shoe better and avoid many returns. regards
