Hello good afternoon, how is the sizing of the Montura Dolomita Gtx boots? My usual size is 7.5 US (25.5 CM) which corresponds to 40EU. You have from 40.5EU (26 CM) If it´s a small size shoe, 40.5 would work for me. Thank you very much.

Hi, these boots are lightweight technical ones, so they can be worn on a technical terrain. They could be compared with the better known La Sportiva Trango Tech or Salewa Crow. The indended user for them is for summer mountaineering, being a little limited in winter conditions. From my own experience with them, I would only have one complaint, but it may be somewhat subjective: they are very uncomfortable at the back of my feet, in the Achilles tendon area, without causing blisters, but creating permanent pressure on the tendon. The rigid heel cup, being a little tilted forward at the top, press the tendon and the place become painful after a while. I wore even other Montura Boots, the model Supervertigo, with which I did not have these problems.
