The Osprey Exos 58 is a fine backpack. Have used it whilst on several treks, short and long. Materials are very good quality. Excellent design all round. I welcome back the useful zippered side pockets. Overall, first class lightweight back pack. One thing though. The main plastic buckle is flimsey and appears to be too weak and I think will not stand up to the rigours of hard trekking? Finally, getting the size right is paramount, else the pack will slip downwards and cause unnecessary fatigue.

Very good backpack with which to trek for several days carrying everything. I have read a lot and in the end I opted for this backpack because of the weight issue. That it has 58L and weighs 1.2KG is really complicated, my previous backpack weighed 2.2KG, so you can appreciate the difference. And all this without neglecting resistance. I only have one small drawback, and that is that the waist pockets are very difficult to open with one hand, I think that is why they removed it from the previous model, although I think it is better to have them than not to have them. Overall a great backpack from a great brand. Extremely comfortable.

Overall it is fine backpack. Light, comfortable, convenient. As mentioned above, compression straps are place on hip belt wich is not the best position. There are not enough loops, why didn't they put loops at the bottom to attach tent is a question to me. I have Shimoda and it doesn't have any dangling straps, but Osprey have all them dangling, why can't they make small loops or rubber band? Will do it myself

Great product and great materials, I'm sure it will last a long time. The only drawback are the compression straps on the sides at the level of the side pockets where the bottles of water are placed. If you squeeze it becomes impossible to put on and remove the bottles easily.
