The Osprey Tempest 40L backpack offers you a total capacity of 40 liters so that you can carry everything you need for two or three days on a mountain excursion that includes a sleeping bag, trekking tools, clothing, hydration, and food, with the safety, durability, impermeability, and breathability required for long walks.
This mountain backpack has been made with recycled nylon, which guarantees excellent resistance to wear and elasticity, and waterproof treatment without PFC. The AirScape back with EVA foam favors breathability and keeps stable even in high-motion circumstances. The shoulder straps and lumbar belts are made with BioStretch technology since they allow freedom of movement and comfort.
It features a separate compartment for the sleeping bag, zippered pocket on the lumbar belt, elastic straps on the side to hold poles or piolets, hydration pocket, internal ring for keys, sternum strap with emergency whistle, anti-scratch zippers to take care of sunglasses, a zippered mesh pocket under flap, reflective straps, internal access for a side closure, adjustable lid with two pockets, and elastic front pocket. I couldn't believe it when I managed to buy the backpack. For several days, it was written on the websites that the Osprey brand's shipping policy did not allow products to be sent to Brazil. I made several attempts until I was able to buy it. The backpack is wonderful, very light and spacious. I was taxed 209 Reais by customs in SP, but it was worth it.

The backpack I recommend is super comfortable. It does not hurt the back in the crossings. I used it for a 2-day bivouac and a good experience. It is very light. Only drawback comes without the cover without the waterproof cover

I bought it as a replacement for my deuter 40+10 lt which is already quite old and is not so malleable, nor light. I don't find it as comfortable as my Deuter in terms of lumbar support or straps but if it doesn't take a lot of weight it's perfect as it's very practical, malleable and light. I particularly like being able to compress to the point of taking 30lts and the storage it has. I've only taken it on a backpacking trip, but I think it has even more potential when I use it on trekking trips. Overall quite satisfied. Also, I particularly love the color!

I bought it a few days ago to release it in a bivouac. The experience has been very positive, it is very comfortable, to the point that after walking for a while you forget that you are wearing it. It is important to adjust it correctly.

Perfect for a multi-day cruise. Very comfortable, the back favors the evaporation of sweat. The side pockets are easy to access and very practical. It adjusts according to your size. Very light. Delighted after having tried it.

No, rain bag is not included, but the backpack is water repellent

It has no rain cover. I reused one that I had from my old backpack, but if you don´t have one, I advise you to buy one.
