Actik Core is a Petzl headlamp, ideal for dynamic outdoor activities, rechargeable and easy to use. This model has 450 lumens of power This model includes red lighting and a reflective headband that provides night vision and avoids affecting other members of the group.
This model includes two beam patterns and various levels of white brightness that offer high performance, through a single button, it also includes a lock function to avoid accidental turning on.
The rechargeable headlamp is ideal for activities such as hiking, mountaineering, among others. The version includes a rechargeable Core battery through the USB port with a charging time of 3 hours and is also compatible with three AAA / LR03 batteries that must be purchased separately.
The rechargeable ACTIK CORE headlamp offers 450 lumens of power, which, along with its multi-beam design, makes it ideal for dynamic outdoor activities like mountaineering, running, hiking and backpacking. Red lighting preserves night vision and prevents members of a group from blinding each other. The reflective headband provides night visibility. ACTIK CORE comes with the CORE rechargeable battery and is also compatible with three AAA/LR03 batteries (not included), thanks to the HYBRID CONCEPT design. Mounting accessories allow the lamp to be attached to any kind of helmet, or to a bicycle.

Front used up to temperatures of -40C without any problem. It has survived 2 seasons in the arctic without any problems and without having to change the battery for a new one. Efficient and long-lasting refills, it lasts less in cold climates but still I have no complaints.

The 450 lumens are incredible, I have walked at night through a closed forest with 2 more people and with my light it was more than enough, the rechargeable battery is very good, you have to protect it from the cold if it is not being used but everything else is very good .

This is my second Petzl Actik Core. The Actik core is replacing the Petzl Tikka XP which had onlyv180 lumen. The Actik core is much brighter with its 450 lumen what makes it saver when you are hiking in the mountains. Also the hybrid concept with rechargeable battery of this lamp is very practical. Good product.

I was using a Black Diamond Storm 375 Lumen which using 4xAAA so it was a bit heavy. And since using AAA batteries when the battery goes low the light goes low a bit as well. So i always had to change the batteries before they totally finishes so i end up with many %20 left AAA batteries. With rechargable battery i do not have this problem anymore. I bought a 2nd battery as well so i only change the battery and continue what im doing. Compared to BD Storm, Actik Core is lighter, powerful but i miss the powertouch button on the BD Storm for instant max power when something happens.
