Great vest

So I have always used Salomon vests for ultra trail races - they work really really well but do lack space when you need to carry a lot of kit ( and they stretch and sag...). With an upcoming 100miler requiring lots of mandatory gear I choose the UD Adventure best with 16 ltr capacity. Yes - it can carry a lot but be warned... those external side pockets are hard to reach when you are on the move ( something Salomon solves with better placement positions). The new adjusters are great - they provide a good fit although I have already broken one side ( but after 1000’s of k’s of use) - this doesn’t really affect the best too much. If you need to carry more than just a jacket and some food then think about one of these.
