The Alp Mate Mid is designed for mountain enthusiasts who want a reliable, comfortable 3-season mid-cut, weatherproof hiking and backpacking boot. It has a high-quality suede upper backed with a waterproof and breathable membrane that keeps bad weather out and dries fast. For additional breathabilty, the tongue and ankle section are constructed from robust mesh fabric. The rubber toe cap and heel stabilizer also provide a further level of protection and stability for your feet.
Built for comfort:
- Built for comfortable, distance-use, this boot features the SALEWA® 3F system for excellent flexibility, heel support and protection. Inside, the durable EVA midsole delivers a soft landing and good shock absorption. With Climbing Lacing and adaptive eyelets that can be fine-tuned for greater precision in technical terrain.

Nicely designed, colors match the image. Ordered size larger on advice, then I can also wear thicker socks. The shoes can be properly secured around your foot thanks to the lacing system. Good grip and good waterproof. Good fit.

As I have indicated, the salewa boots, women, are extraordinary for their comfort, lightness, grip to the ground, indistinctly, loose stones, earth or rock, but I have had a problem with the laces, the external part of the lace has worn I only have the gut of the lace and no matter how hard I have tried, I have not found replacement laces similar to the original ones. They do not even have them in the store where I bought the boots. I would be infinitely grateful if you would tell me where I would find them. Mine are maroon but I wouldn't mind if they had another. Thank you very much.

Very nice and comfortable hiking boots. I ordered 1 size bigger than normal shoes. I have a Salomon size 41 1/3. I ordered a 41 from Salewa and they fit me. I like that they are not so bulky.

Very good hiking shoes. "Holds the pavement well", light, shock absorbers at the top ... I recommend more more ... I have had them for about 1 month.
